Registered at the Aikikai Foundation, Aikido World Headquarters in Japan under number 176346. Joined the Takemussu Institute since 1994 when he started. Active member of the Brazilian Aikido Confederation and Aikido International Club. He inaugurated Yamato Dojo on November 30, 1999, beginning his life as a teacher in charge of publicizing Aikido in Copacabana, with the authorization of Sensei Wagner Bull, founder of the Takemussu Institute and president of the Brazilian Aikido Confederation (Brazil Aikikai). The instructor follows the molds of the Takemussu Institute which practices traditional Aikido. He believes in Aikido as a development of the human being, through harmony and energy (Aiki), connecting the spiritual part of the thing without losing the vigorous part of Aikido as self-defense. Mauro Salgueiro is a lawyer and in the past has acted as security for businessmen, politicians, Police Delegates, VIPs and events. He participated in several national and international seminars, where in these years he developed techniques of immobilization and control of armed people (knives, firearms, etc.). Mauro Salgueiro also teaches courses for companies and security agencies. In addition to courses in personal defense and weapons disarmament for interested individuals or groups.
